On certain rec league football fields in Los Angeles, watching
the crowd of parents gathered on the sidelines is more entertaining than
watching the children who are playing the game.
This
was the case on Saturday, when 37-year-old actress Reese Witherspoon
and her 38-year-old actor ex-husband Ryan Phillipe both attended their
son Deacon's football match with their significant others.
Then 39-year-old model Heidi Klum and her bodyguard boyfriend Martin Kristen took seats along the sidelines as well.

Witherspoon spent most of the game standing by herself and cheering Deacon on as he played.
Later, the Mud actress, husband Jim Toth and her nine-year-old son walked away from the field together after the game.
Both Witherspoon and Toth are still dealing with the fallout from their recent arrests for disorderly conduct and DUI respectively in Atlanta, where the actress was filming her latest movie The Good Lie.

The pretty pair looked around at who else was in attendance, undoubtedly noticing his ex-wife, but the former flames decided to keep their distance.
Later, the MacGruber star strolled across the field while making a phone call.

The two said hello to a few others on the sideline before sitting down and making themselves comfortable.
They watched the game happily but also enjoyed a spot of alone time as they shared a romantic cuddle.
