She is currently at the center of a media storm after Allure
Magazine controversially mentioned her body weight on its June cover.
But it seems Zoe Saldana is focusing her energies on affairs of the heart.
The 34-year-old, who looked smart in a silver suit on Thursday for a Sirius Satellite Radio interview, is said to be dating Italian artist Marco 'Pirate' Perego.

New romance: Zoe Saldana looked businesslike in a silver suit for a Sirius radio interview on Thursday amid reports she is dating Italian artist Marco Perego
The actress, who is busy promoting her
new flick Star Trek Into The Darkness, hid her slender frame in the
loose-fitting suit, which she paired with pointy white heels for the
interview.
She wore her dark hair in loose curls over her one shoulder and added a pop of colour with crimson red lipstick.
The star showed off her flawless complexion, which she enhanced with a dusting of peach-coloured blusher, showing off her pearly white teeth as she smiled for the camera.

Meanwhile, Zoe was spotted out with Marco on Tuesday night after the Star Trek premiere in Los Angeles, according to the New York Post's Page Six.
'They looked very close and were later seen kissing,' a source told the newspaper.
But
another source told the publication that the pair 'have known each
other for a while as friends. It's too early to say they are dating.'
A source close to Zoe echoed the same sentiment, telling People: 'They're hanging out for sure, but it's very new. It's nothing serious yet.'

Marco,
who earned his Pirate moniker for his Johnny Depp-esque long hair and
goatee, was a former professional footballer before turning to art after
a leg injury.
He moved to New York
from Venice, Italy more than a decade ago, and within five years was a
star in the art world after selling a piece of work to Giorgio Armani.
His most famous art piece was a morbid 2008 sculpture of a blood-soaked, dead Amy Winehouse (who passed away a few years later, in 2011) with the title 'The Only Good Rock Star Is A Dead Rock Star.'

Controversial: Allure Magazine's decision to reveal Zoe's weight on its June cover has been criticized by other media outlets, who brand it 'unnecessary'
Zoe
is also currently at the center of a controversy after Allure Magazine
revealed her body weight - '115 pounds of grit and heartache' - on the
cover of its June issue.
Many online outlets have branded the magazine's choice as 'bizarre,' 'stupid' and 'unnecessary.'
'Every
time we seem to be making progress in the way women are portrayed in
magazines, somehow we take a step back,' said Yahoo's omg!, before later
concluding that 'the decision to showcase Saldana's digits seems
so…unnecessary.'
Allure issued an official statement on their Facebook page Wednesday defending their choice.
'The
girl is a powerhouse. And we were so impressed by what a tough,
confident woman Saldana is (on-screen, in her action-movie roles, and
off) that we wanted to capture that.'
The actress herself didn't appear to be too perturbed about it, telling Savannah Guthrie during a Today Show interview:
'I
think it would have been wrong if they were lying about my weight. This
is how much I weigh, it's something I can't control, it's who I am.
I've always been a very thin frame, I was a ballet dancer,' she said.
'I don't think it was to make an issue of my weight. I think it was to say for a lightweight person, I seem to be really strong-minded,' she added.
