It seems like the Japanese Pop-Idol Band ARASHI will be adding an extra show in Seoul, South Korea. ARASHI currently on the "ARASHI AROUND ASIA 2008" tour will be performing in Seoul after the group have been demanded to have more shows by the fans there. The hugely popular Japanese boy band Arashi
will hold an extra show in Seoul on Nov. 11 at the Seoul Olympic Park Fencing Stadium.
The band, currently on their "Arashi Around Asia 2008," tour added the extra show after fervent public demand caused tickets for the band`s first three scheduled concerts to sell out within 30 minutes of going on sale last month.
Arashi`s sound covers a wide range of musical genres, including R&B, hip hop and various forms of pop. The group is widely known across Asia and to J-pop
fans all over the world.
"Arashi," the Japanese word for storm, debuted in 1999. Their debut single "Arashi" became the theme song for the 8th World Cup of Volleyball, which Japan hosted that year. They gained widespread exposure when they performed their debut single at the World Cup`s opening that year. The single became a major hit, selling almost a million copies.
The forthcoming concert in Seoul will be the group`s second visit to Korea`s capital city in two years.
