She's in a really hot position right now playing several roles in this fall's j-dramas which includes her role as Kazunomiya in "Atsu-Hime", falling head over heels in love with Yujin-kun in Innocent Love and also the most anticipated "Hana-Kimi SP" which will air tomorrow at 9.00pm-11.15pm (Japan Time)

In "Innocent Love" she will play a woman who lost both her parents in a fire when she was still very young, whose older brother got convicted for this crime and despite these circumstances gets attracted to a pianist the first time she meets him. For this theme the 'expression of falling in love' is an important factor on how well the story will be received.
"It might be the most difficult thing to do, expressing the emotion of falling in love with somebody. The pain after getting hit would be very easy, but the pain of love isn't such a simple one."

月9『イノセント・ラヴ』では、両親を火事で亡くし、兄はその容疑で刑務所に、そんな複雑な環境で過ごしながら、ピアニストの彼に出会い惹かれていく、というヒロインを演じる。そのなかで課題にしているのが、“恋をしている感情”をいかに共感してもらえるように表現するかだ。
「たぶん一番難しいかもしれないですね。恋する感情表現って。叩かれて痛いといかだったらすごく簡単だけど、恋の痛さってそういうものじゃないから」
役を演じるにあたって彼女は、過去の感情を書き溜めたものを読み返すこともあるとか。ちなみに現在の恋愛事情はといえば……。
「実はこの間、京都の下鴨神社に行って縁結びのお守りを買って、今もバッグにつけてるんですよ（笑）。マネージャーさんたちと女3人で鐘もものすっごいガランガラン鳴らして。まだ１カ月くらいだから誰も変化はないんだけど、ご利益あるといいなぁ」
