こんにちは！
今年の春東京に引越したら、プレイグループを始めようと思っています☆が、
そもそも、プレイグループとは何でしょう？
プレイグループとは、一般に未就園児とその親や保護者が集まってコミュニケーションを取る場所です。
私が現在住んでいる香港では、ナーザリースクールなどが運営している事も多いですが、ご近所や友人同士が集まってインフォーマルに集まるカジュアルなものもあります。
日本ではまだあまり英語のプレイグループが多くないようですが、アメリカやイギリスなどの英語圏はもちろん、外国人移住者の多い地域では英語のプレイグループが盛んです。
私は第二言語が英語の香港で、娘と一緒に多国籍のプレイグループに参加していますが、親子共々、英語慣れることはもちろん、様々な人種や国籍の人と出会えることがとても貴重な経験だと思いました。
今日もちょうど参加してきたところですが、娘は帰り道しばらくベビーカーで、何となーく英語の歌を歌っていました笑
プレイグループが未経験の方も多いと思うので、次回、私たちが参加しているプレイグループの1日の活動を、具体的に紹介したいと思います^ ^

Thanks for visiting. I'll host a local playgroup in Tokyo after I move from Hong Kong this Spring.
What is playgroup?
Playgroup is an informal session where mums, dads, grandparents, caregivers, children and babies meet together in a relaxed environment.
There are commercial type and non-commercial type of playgroups.
My daughter and I join a non-profit playgroup here in Hong Kong. However, it seems that there're few playgroups which aren't run by educational organizations/companies in Tokyo while they're very popular in the West.
