One day, Lily asked Marshall to coach basketball for her kindergarden students.
However, since Marshall's father gave him no quarter for a basketball, he tried to coach them like,
" Do not stop running!!!! You have to win!!!!"
In contrast to him, Lily likes to teach them like,
" Don't care about scores, all you guys can get trophies as long as you participate in a game:) Just have fun!"
that's why they argued, and Lily insisted, " You cant teach them like this anymore! Are we clear!?"
And in the match of the following day, Marshall said to children,
" Okay you guys, you don't have to win the game, just have fun." against his policy.
But this awful scores made him not keep being silent, and finally he begged of Lily,
" Can I please do it my way. "
And after all, she accepted his way, but she decided to cheer on children with her way also.
So, they cheered on with each ways.
However, they couldn't make any score at all, and they were beated over100 to nothing.
After this game, when Marshall was disappointed and sad, Lily came to him and said
" You probably dont want it...but" and she gave "the participation trophy".
And he says "I love it...I guess your way is not totally stupid", while getting it.
And she says " Yes, and your way is totally stupid" with smile.
Marshall tried to say something, actually he didn't say anything, and just he smiled at her too.
How sweet Marshall is! except that his head is getting colser to a bald.
