In the spring of 1992, in a corner of a souvenir shop at Disney World in Florida, a craftsman was carving duck decoys.
The palm-sized decoy in front of me was so cute that I decided to buy it. I thought it would only cost around $20 since it was so small, but it was $90!
Apparently, the craftsman was famous. The bottom of the decoy was signed by world champion carver, J.B. Garton.
I still love it. It really lifts me up.
