先日、生徒さんとユネスコに関する英文を読みました
ユネスコが設立された目的や、現在の役割、
世界文化遺産と自然遺産の違いなど
大学入試の過去問でしたが、結構、読み応えがありました。
ユネスコのホームページを見ると、OUR VISIONの欄に
次のようにあります。
Political and economic arrangements of governments are not enough
to secure the lasting and sincere support of the peoples. Peace must
be founded upon dialogue and mutual understanding. Peace must be
built upon the intellectual and moral solidarity of humanity.
平和は何によって構築されなければならないと書いてあるか
