天使の豚をこ存知ですか？
Do you know Angel Pigs?
先日スーパーで不思議なものを発見しました。
The another day I fond a really strange one
in a supermarket.
明らかに鶏の手羽先に見えるのですが
「国産豚」のシールが貼られていました。
It looks absolutely Chicken wings
but had a label written "JAPANESE PORK"
はっきりして下さい！
Please be clear !
直ぐにわたしの頭の中では天使の豚のイメージが浮かびました。
I had an image of Angel Pigs in my mind right after.
夫がドイツで度々訪れた豚料理専門レストランの
天井画の写真を前に見ていたからです。
Because I've seen before some photos of Angel Pigs
which had been painted on the ceiling
of a pork speciality restaurant in Germany,
where my husband had visited several times.
お庭にも天使の豚がいました。
There was one also in their garden.
空飛ぶ豚は、英語では現実にはまったくありえないこと
を示す慣用句だそうです。
The phrase "when pigs fly" in English is
that it describes an impossibility and will never occur.
さて、豚の手羽先?は、お手伝いのコイズミさん
（電気圧力鍋）にお任せしました。
By the way I asked my maid Koizumisan
(electrical pressure cooker) to cook Pork Wings?
コリアンダーをたっぷりかけた参鶏湯おかゆになりました。
"Samgyetang style Rice gruel with Coriander" is done.
また別の日、こちらは正真正銘の鶏もも肉を使って
コイズミさんは、チャーシューを作ってくれました。
Then the another day Koizumi san cooked
"Teriyaki style simmered chicken"
with authentic chicken thigh.
こういうものは大得意です。
Those dishes are her speciality.
