また、普通名詞ascesionは同辞典では
［U］formal when someone moves to a more important or higher position or job (同上）
とされています。ここで［U］は不可算名詞、formal は文字通り日常会話ではなくフォーマルなスピーチや文書で用いられることを意味しています。
