The main purposes are to equip for a point of manufacture’s view and to grasp how to manage with coming in touch with Chinese values, and to acquire a point of whole mandom group view. I’d like to share the following things to learn there each day.
幸せなことに先週5日間、中山麗達(RIDA)にて研修を受けさせてもらいました。主な目的としては、生産場面での視点を身に付けること、中国人の価値観に触れながらその中でどのような経営をされているのか、そしてマンダムグループ全体の視野を得るためなどがありました。下記に時系列で学んだことをシェアします。
1th day,
I took lectures by Mr. Koizumi about managing a company and relationship with MCC and MCJ, difficulty in China and so on. I learned RIDA’s business which manufacture and sale are separated, the difficulties to apply various application forms taking a lot of trouble.
1日目
小泉副総経理より、会社運営やRIDAとMCC・MCJの関係、そして中国で働く上での苦労を教えて頂きました。「製」・「販」が分離しているRIDAの役割や申請には多大な労力と時間を要することを学びました。
2th day,
Kou-san, from Production Management Division, taught me business contents in that division. She makes plans about how to produce each product to take an order from each overseas company. For instance, should prepare total amount of staff for completely making the order, to judge if it needs how much raw materials are and how long it takes.
2日目
生産管理課に所属しているコウさんより、この課の業務内容を教えてもらいました。彼女は海外グループ会社から受けた注文の商品に対してそれぞれどのような生産体制で行っていくかを計画します。たとえば、その受注品を完成させるためにはどのくらいの人員が必要か、また原材料はどれぐらい必要で、どれぐらい時間が掛かるかなどを判断します。
3th day,
Jo-san, from Production and Finishing Division, show me around the plant with explaining how to make. When he lead me there, GB wax was made in two tanks which oil and water and then was emulsified to another tank. And he also let me show the progress of work which Long keep gel was made, and so far I didn't know that 60% of that products was made in RIDA. In the afternoon, I joined the site works with staffs working in production line.
3日目
仕上げ・製造課のジョさんが各工程の説明をしながら工場内を案内してくれました。丁度案内してもらっているとき、GBワックスが2つのタンクでそれぞれ油と水に分けられて調合されており、その2つを他のタンクで混ぜて乳化する工程が行われていました。そしてロングキープジェルが製造されている工程も見学させて頂き、この時初めて同商品がRIDAにおいてマンダムグループ全体の60%も生産されていることを知りました。その日の午後、生産ラインに入って、そこのスタッフと一緒に作業させてもらいました。

4th day,
I participated in strategy meeting between SMC and RIDA. They shared the present situation each other and then discussed new products and limited items.
After that, Lynn-san, from OEM division, show me how to investigate the label, bottle, cap and shrink wrap. This div have to do the work whenever it makes use of items they’ve never used.
4日目
この日はSMCとRIDAの間で行われた戦略会議に参加させて頂きました。そこではお互いの現状をシェアし合ったり、新製品や限定品の話し合いが行われていました。その後、OEM課のリンさんにラベルやボトル、キャップ、シュリンクの調査方法を見せて頂きました。この課は今まで使用したことがないものを利用する時はいつもこの作業をしなければならないそうです。(徹底した品質管理チェック体制ですね。)
5th day,
Kyo-san, from Quality Control Division, instructed me how to check the product and packaging material early in the morning. After that, Mr. Igaki teach me the unit function and the role each person. He told about the difficulty in china which is low-quality compared with japan when it purchased from local company, and indicate the direction of work. So it has to concentrate more than working in japan. After that, Mr. effendi taught me about cost of plant and intending to start OEM business in earnest.
5日目
品質管理課のキョさんより、早朝に製品や包材のチェックのやり方を教えてもらった後、井垣経理より同部署の役割や各スタッフの業務内容を教えてもらいました。井垣さんからは中国のローカル企業から原材料や包材を調達する時、日本のものと比較して低品質であることや部下への指示の難しさがあるため、日本で働いている時以上に気を張り巡らせねばならないというお話を伺いました。その後、エフェンディ副総経理より工場で掛かる費用や本格的に取り組みを始めようとするOEM事業について教えて頂きました。
Through this training, I could learn a point of view from manufacture I’ve never experienced. I want to definitely make use of this training for the future, for being global human resources.

この研修を通じて、今まで経験したことがない海外における生産場面の視点というのを学ばさせてもらいました。将来グローバル人材になるため、この研修を受けたことをしっかりと今後に活かしたいと思います。
