It’s too late now to introduce my home city.
I’m living in Wan Chai City, like Roppongi. This City is mingled with old and new.
There are a lot of markets, vegetables, fish and meat, whereas the buildings, trade facilities and restaurants stood in a row.
It’s attractive for me to have various faces.
Every day, I leave home about 8 a.m. and go my office. On the way to work, I pass along a market, where not only meal but clothes and miscellaneous goods shops.
I’m surprised that many people buy articles from early morning time.
I feel this city is much livelier than anywhere in Japan, and this liveliness testify to keep growing up in this country.

今更ですが、私の住んでいる市について紹介します。
私は湾仔という日本で言えば六本木のような(地球の歩き方に記載)街に住んでいます。この街は新旧が入り混じったようなところです。
野菜や魚、肉などを売っている市場が多くある一方で、ビルや商業施設、レストランなども立ち並んでいます。
私にとっては色んな表情を持っているところが大変魅力的で気に入っています。
私は毎日朝8時くらいに家を出て会社に向かいます。その道中に食料だけでなく服や雑貨なども売っている市場を通るのですが、朝早くから多くの人が色んなものを買っており、びっくりしました。
この街のような活気があるところは日本のどこにもないでしょう。そしてこの活気こそこの国がいまだに成長し続けている証なのかもしれない、と感じました。
