４月２６日 首都だぞ～！ウェリントン
↑I got up at 6:30 and prepared to go.
６時半に起きて、出発の準備をした。
↑I wanted to give a YAMANEKO doll to the clerk, but she was sleeping. Maybe next time… .
山ネコを宿の人にあげたかったが、寝てた・・・まぁ次回にでも・・・。
↑New Plymouth is a very beautiful city.
ニュープリマウスはとってもきれいな町。
↑Today, I will go to the capital.
今日は首都に向かうぞ～。
↑This is Mt.Taranaki that is the very famous mountain in New Plymouth. It’s very similar to Mt.Fuji so we can see it in the Japanese film “Last Samurai”. Japan and New Zealand are in opposite seasons so maybe it was convenient for the movie producer to film all seasons at the same time.
ニュープリマウスにあるタラナキ山。この山は富士山に似ているので、ラスト侍の映画に使われている。多分季節が日本と反対だから、同じ時期に全ての季節の映像が撮れて都合がよかったのかなぁ。
↑At Palmerston North, we had an hour break.
パルマーストンノースで１時間の休憩。
↑I went to the restaurant and at last I could eat soup noodle like Japanese style.
レストランに行って、ついに・・・ついに日本風のラーメンを食べた。
↑Palmerston North is also a beautiful city.
パルマーストンノースもまた美しい町でしたぞ～。
↑After 7 hours from leaving New Plymouth, I arrived at Wellington which is the capital of New Zealand. The bus stop and Wellington railway station are located in the same place.
ニュープリマウスを出て７時間後、首都のウェリントンに到着。バス停と鉄道のウェリントン駅は同じ場所にある。
↑I think Wellington is smaller than Auckland, but everything is crowded. This is the scenery from the bayside.
ウェリントンはオークランドよりも小さいと思う。しかし、全てのものが混み合って集約されている感じ。これは海辺の映像です。

↑This is Massey University where my landlord Lavenia went to. It’s a very big university.
Massey大学。大家のlaveniaさんが所属していた大学です。とても大きい。
↑This is Wellington hospital. I lost my way a little and I found it.
ウェリントン病院。道に迷って見つけてしまった。
↑This is a army shop. I don’t have any interest in the army, but I like this sentence.”Nothing you need but everything you want.”
これはアーミーショップ。軍人のグッズが売ってあった。軍人に興味はないけど、この文章は気に入った。
「必要ないんだけど、欲しくなるもの・・・」そういう物ってあるよね？

マクドナルドではないんだけど、和牛バーガーって商品、日本にある？
↑I ate soup noodle again at the restaurant called “Noodle Canteen”. The noodle was like strings but I was happy to eat soup noodle twice a day.
ラーメンをもう一回食べました。なんか麺が糸みたいだったけど・・・まぁ１日に２回も食べられて幸せです。
↑Around seven thirty, I arrived at YHA (Today’s accommodation) and wrote my blog.
７時半頃、ユースホステルに着いた。それからブログを書いた。
↑At night, I went to a supermarket near YHA and found “Dr. Pepper” do you know it? It’s produced by Coca Cola. Almost all my friends in Japan don’t like it but I really like it.
夜、スーパーマーケットに行って、ドクター・ペッパーを見つけた。このジュース知ってる？コカコーラ製なんだけど・・・。日本の友達はほとんどまずいっていうけど、自分的にはめちゃくちゃ好きなんです。
