↑Last night, Paea came to my house to pick me up to the airport. Thank you Paea. I gave him No.215 YAMANEKO doll.
I told him how to make the YAMANEKO doll. He said he would make 10 YAMANEKO dolls by the time I come back to Tonga. Really?
Paea君が昨日家に来た。空港まで車で送ってくれる。ありがと～。山ネコNo.２１５をプレゼント。山ネコの作り方を教えたら、torojiro先生がトンガに帰ってくるまでに１０個作っておくとのことです。ほんとか～？
↑This time, I made 10 YAMANEKO dolls for going abroad.
今回１０体の山ネコを海外旅行用に作りました。
↑This is my all baggage. I am always a backpacker. I travel very light.
これ、荷物の全てです。いつもバックパッカーなので軽いです。
↑Though I could not sleep well, the airplane arrived at Auckland (New Zealand) in 3 hours. There is a one-hour time difference between Tonga and New Zealand so it was 5 o’clock AM at that time.
よく眠れなかったんだけど、３時間でオークランドに着きました。時間は１時間マイナスなので５時着。
↑Auckland airport looked very urban maybe because I came from Tonga.
オークランド空港はめちゃくちゃ都会に見える・・・多分トンガから来たからでしょう。
↑My landlord’s parents found me with the signboard. When I told my landlords about my trip, they asked their parents, who are living in New Zealand, to pick me up from the airport.
大家さんの両親が、こんな看板を持って見つけてくれました。旅行について大家さんに話した時、大家さんがニュージーランドに住んでいる両親に電話して、お迎えに来てくれるようになりました。ありがたやありがたや。
↑They provided me with a lot of meals and accommodation, I am happy to meet you. Thank you for inviting me. By the way, when they were in Tonga until 2007, they were living next to my landlord, it means I am living in the same house.
ごはんをご馳走になりました。それから宿も提供していただきました。会えてよかったです、招いてくれてありがとう。ところで、彼らは２００７年までトンガにいて、現在の大家さんの隣に住んでいました。まぁ大家さんの親だからねぇ・・・つまりその後、自分が住むようになったということです。
↑I gave them No.216 YAMANEKO doll. They displayed it in front of the picture. This is Lavenia who is my landlord. She graduated Massey University in New Zealand. Now she works for the American Peace Corps volunteer’s office in Tonga, so her English is pretty good.

山ネコＮｏ．２１６をプレゼント。写真の前に飾ってくれました。この写真はLaveniaさん。はい大家さんです。彼女はMassey大学と言うニュージーランド、（ウェリントンの近所）の大学を卒業しました。今はアメリカン・ピースコープボランティアの事務所に所属しているので、英語がとっても上手です。

After that I took a nap for 4 hours and then we went to a lot of places to arrange my schedule. I had no plan as usual.
そのあと４時間昼寝をした。（昨日山ネコ作っていたのと、飛行機変な時間だったとかで全然寝てないからな～。）それから予定を決めるためにたくさんの場所に行った。いつものように無計画・・・
↑Auckland is a very big city. Almost all of the cars look like new.
オークランドはめっちゃくちゃ都会に見える。ほとんどの車が新しく見える・・・。すごい、皆ドアが閉まって走っている・・・お～ドアミラーがちゃんとついている・・・・わぉ～トラックの荷台に人がひしめきあっていない！・・・きゃ～フロントガラスがココナッツで割れていない・・・きれいだ～キレイすぎる！！！！！！！へこんでない車を見ると、何か落ち着かないなぁ～。

次にショッピングセンターに行った。１１年前ニュージーの南島に来た時はよくPACK’n SAVEに行ったもんだなぁ。
↑At last, we went to the airport to get some information about the North Island. I decided to leave Auckland tomorrow morning and go around almost all of the North Island in 4 days.
最終的に空港に行き、北島の情報を仕入れた。明日の朝オークランドを出ることに決めた。ほとんど北島を廻るはず。たぶんね～
