Hummus I've had my eye on this cookbook for a while. Taken on January 8, 2013; 178 Views. This recipe is adapted from Yotam Ottolenghi's version in the Jerusalem cookbook. I've heard such wonderful things about Jerusalem! So sometimes I need to make a minor tweak to the recipe depends on what I have in the fridge. I was inspired to purchase this new cookbook after being invited to a friends house for a dinner party and being pleasantly surprised at some of the unusual but delicious dishes being served. You shouldn't be surprised since he is an internationally-known chef, but I was surprised at how much fun I've had in his cookbooks Plenty and Jerusalem. + Add Patrizia miceli Patrizia Miceli - Via delle Member since 2008. Every one of them was worth the effort! Right now, my favorite cookbook is A Meatlovers Meatless Cookbook. I made them this weekend as a test batch so I could perfect the recipe for Sunday. We have THE BEST local library and so I put the Jerusalem cookbook on hold. Turns out, not a whole lot needed to be perfected. New cookbook from British-Israeli chef Yotam Ottolenghi and British-Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi highlights the common experience between Palestinians and Israelis in modern Jerusalem, according to this article on NPR. I would love to win it, so thanks for the opportunity! I don't like to buy cookbooks until I've tried them out. My record now stands at 8 recipes done from the Ottolenghi cookbook. Earlier this week, I made his spinach salad with pita croutons, almonds, and dates. So far I'm really enjoying cooking from the Jerusalem cookbook, but I really can't break a bank while doing this!
