Have that and my old HP laptop and I want to condense into one. It really is a shame because I freaking love thing. I am finding that I am doing more stuff in my HP than my Pixel when it comes to school. So I am hoping to sell both of those and use that money plus a little bit of cash to get a macbook air.

I want to back up..you can select downloads to go to that folder in ''settings". Alternately you can set downloads directly to drive instead of Downloads, also a feature in your settings menu.as Kirk linked to (make sure to expand the supported codec listing).
You have several other options available you can use your laptop to stream to your chromebook through nextbuying and you can also upload media files to Google Drive, then stream them in a similar format to youtube
