今週の月曜日から、放課後そろばん特訓を始めました
昨年10月にハーパイで行われたそろばん大会の筆記部門で、上位3位に入った子どもが、
3月30日に主都で行われる全国大会に出場できるのです

全国大会へハーパイからは4年生3人、5年生3人が出場予定
夕方4時から6時までみっちり特訓しました
ああ、トンガ語ができないと厳しいよ～
とても熱心な指導のTupou先生
彼女なしではハーパイのそろばん教育の発展は厳しいでしょう
教師教育の重要性、ひしひしと感じています
From this Monday, I started to teach abacus calculation to some students with Ms.Tupou after school.
6 students from Ha'apai will go to Nuku'alofa to join the national abacus competition on 30th March.
I taught abacus for 2 hours to them!
I thought I had to study Tongan language so hard....
About the second picture, she is a teacher, Ms,Tupou,
She is a great teacher about abacus.
It's diffcult to improve the situation of acasus education in Ha'apai without her.
I felt the teacher's training was also so important.....
