でも、購入時に座席指定はしなかったんです。

📱2. アプリから座席指定しようとしたら…まさかのエラー💥
アプリの
「マイプラン」→「座席指定」
という流れで進めて、いざ「確認」ボタンをタップすると…
❌ エラーメッセージ！
「失敗！？え、なんで？通信環境のせい？」と思ってやり直してもダメ。
これはもしや…航空会社のサイトからじゃないとダメ？と焦る私。
🔍3. エチオピア航空の公式サイトでリトライ！
急いで「エチオピア航空 座席指定」で検索🧭
公式サイトの予約管理ページらしきものにたどり着くものの…
😵 サイトが重い！日本語訳が直訳すぎて読みづらい！
それでも諦めずに、
Trip.comで表示されていた予約番号と苗字（ローマ字）を入力して、なんとかログイン成功✨
💺4. 空席状況が違う！？でも…
見てみると、Trip.comの空席状況と公式サイトの情報が違う！？
どうやらTrip.comの座席表示はリアルタイムじゃないのかも。
そこで、エチオピア航空の公式サイトで「空いている」と表示された座席を指定してみました🧩
📩5. 予約完了後、数分でアプリに座席指定通知！
なんと…
その数分後、Trip.comのアプリから通知が届きました📲
✅ 「座席指定が完了しました」
おおお！結果的にはちゃんと座席指定できていた✨
どうやらエチオピア航空で座席指定→Trip.comに反映されるまで、ちょっとラグがあるみたいです。

🧳 1. Booking on Trip.com, but Seat Not Selected
I successfully booked my Ethiopian Airlines ticket on Trip.com🎫, but I didn’t select a seat during the purchase process. I thought, “I can just do it later on the app…”
📱 2. Trying to Select a Seat on the App… and Encountering an Error 💥
I tried to select my seat through the app by following this path:
"My Plan" → "Seat Selection"
Then, when I clicked on the “Confirm” button…
❌ Error Message!
“Wait, why? Could it be because of my connection?” I thought, so I tried again, but it still didn’t work. I started to panic and wondered if I had to do it through the airline’s website instead.
🔍 3. Trying Again on the Ethiopian Airlines Website!
I quickly searched for “Ethiopian Airlines seat selection” 🧭. I found what seemed to be the reservation management page on the official site, but…
😵 The site was slow! The Japanese translation was too literal and hard to understand!
But I didn’t give up, and after entering the reservation number and surname (in Roman characters) from Trip.com, I finally managed to log in successfully ✨.
💺 4. The Seat Availability Was Different!? But…
When I checked, the seat availability on Trip.com and the official Ethiopian Airlines site were different! It seems that Trip.com’s seat availability isn’t updated in real-time.
So, I selected a seat that was marked as “available” on the Ethiopian Airlines official site 🧩.
📩 5. Seat Selection Confirmation Came Through on the App After a Few Minutes!
To my surprise, just a few minutes later, I received a notification on the Trip.com app 📲:
✅ “Seat selection completed!”
Wow! In the end, I successfully selected my seat ✨. It seems there’s a slight delay between selecting seats on Ethiopian Airlines and the reflection on Trip.com.
