チップの文化は私たちにとってかなり親しみのない文化ですよね。
このカルチャーはアメリカだけだと思います。
ヨーロッパでちょっと置いたりしますが、何円とか何十円の話。
アメリカではお会計の１８％〜２０％払うように言われています。チップを置かなかったら警察に捕まることはありませんが。笑
基本的にはMUSTです。
それを頼りに生きてる人がいるということを忘れないでください😢 私もサロンで働いていたので、気持ちがよーく分かります:)
たまに現金取ってくると言って、戻ってこない人とかいますが。。本当ジョークです
本題のチップの置き方ですが、
まずウエートレスがお会計を持ってきます。
カードで支払うと時は、カードを見えるように挟み、ウエーターが持って行くのを待つ。
そして次にまた違うレシートを持ってくるので、カードを抜き取りチップを記入しサインして終わり。割り勘したいときは何枚でもカードを挟んで大丈夫です。
現金で払いたい時は、チップ分も入れて
（I do not need change ）
(Keep the change)
もしくは先に払って、次のレシートと一緒にチップを払ってもオッケー
めっちゃ簡単なチップの計算は
最初の数字を2倍すれば大丈夫です。
お会計が$60.00 6×2 ＝$12 チップ＄12
$100.00 10×2=$20 チップ＄20
これでだいたい１８％〜２０％のチップになります！
昔聞いた話で某有名ブランドの息子が一杯のドリンクに１０万ちょっとのチップを払ったという。。おそるべしチップ文化

There are rules for tipping in US.
I have been asked if we must leave a tip at a restaurant by my Japanese friends.
The answer is YES.
We must leave a tip of about 18% to 20% for services except things like takeout (you are not going to arrested by not leaving a tip)lol
I used to worked as a heir colorlist at a beauty salon and of course I get tips from my clients. Just keep it in mind that some people live off tip.
However, sometimes clients leave just a couple of singles on purpose even thought there was no problem with the services and they pretend to forget to leave a tip because they are just cheap.
that is very rude….
Now back to my subject
After eating, a waiter brings a bill and you are supposed to give your credit card or cash. then, a waiter brings anther receipt. You have to write an amount tip and sign it. take back your card.
if you give them cash include a tip and say (I do not need change ）or (Keep the change)

You should double the first number of the total.
$60.00 6×２＝＄12 tip is＄12
$100.00 10×２=$20 tip＄20
and I heard that a story about a son of a CEO of a large fashion company who went to a bar for one drink and left a $1000 tip…OMG!!
