NISSAN Skyline GT-R (KPGC10) (1969-1972)
Today, I'd like to talk about my most favorite car.
The car, named "Skyline GT-R (KPGC10)".
GT-R set to 3rd generation Skyline(C10) was born in 1969, and was manufactured until 1972.
Skyline GT-R had some nicknames.
You know "Hako-Suka(ハコスカ)”？
This was the nickname which came from the box-shaped body of this car.
In addition, this car was called “Wolf covered with the skin of sheep(羊の皮を被った狼)”.
This nickname came from that this car had high performance engine inside itself against the body of docile sedan.
The engine called “S20 type” had originated the engine of the racing car.
Skyline GT-R played an active part in the race.
The record 50 successive victories of this car is still handed down as a myth among car enthusiasts.

I cannot talk about Skyline without Shinichiro Sakurai (桜井慎一郎)[1929-2011]
He developed Skyline as a development person in charge from 2nd generation model to 7th generation model.
I think that he was a great car designer, developer.
He had a passion for cars deeply than anyone else.
What I’ve got a job of car designer, developer is his influence.

Do you know the comic called “GT roman”?
This comic drew about a master of a coffee shop named “Roman” and various car enthusiasts who gathered there.
The car which the master has is Skyline GT-R.
You can see the splendor of cars and lovely car enthusiasts in the comic.
It is attractive that Skyline runs fast when the time comes even if it has a subdued face.
I am called “ Vegetarian boy(草食男子)” by everybody
But, in fact, I might be “Wolf covered with the skin of sheep(羊の皮を被った狼)”!
