I got injured last week, so I'm not feeling well and my head still hurts.
先週ケガをしてしまったので、体調が悪く、まだ頭が痛いです。
It all started on the play ground.
すべては、遊び場から始まりました。
I was watching our students on the school grounds, and the 2nd-grade boys were kicking a ball.
校庭で生徒の様子を見ていたら、小学2年生の男子がボールを蹴ってあそんでいました。
A boy was chasing the ball and it was rolling toward me.
ある男の子が追いかけていたボールが、私の方に転がってきました。
I stopped it with my foot for him, but surprisingly, he tackled me!
私はその子のために足でボールを止めたのですが、なんとその子は私にタックルしてきたのです！
At that moment, I fell down on the ground and hit my head.
その瞬間、私は地面に倒れ、頭を打ちました。
For about 5 minutes, I couldn't stand up, so I remained laying on the ground.
5分くらいは立ち上がれなかったので、そのまま地面に寝転んでいました。
After 30 minutes, I decided to go to a clinic to have/get my head checked because I got a big bump.
30分後、大きなたんこぶができたので、クリニックに行って診てもらうことにしました。
I got an x-ray, and the doctor said that there was nothing wrong with my head.
レントゲンを撮ったところ、特に異常はないと言われました。
I was relieved to hear that, but my head, neck, and other parts of my body still hurt.
でも、まだ頭や首などが痛みました。
Next Monday, I got a CT and some x-rays at a different hospital.
翌週月曜、別の病院でCTとレントゲンを撮りました。
The doctor said that I have mild whiplash, so I need to avoid doing sports or moving hard in daily life.
ドクターからは、軽いむち打ち症なので、スポーツや日常生活で激しく動くことは避けるようにと言われました。
My pain will continue for at least a couple more weeks.
私の痛みは少なくともあと2週間は続くでしょう。
I will be able to work but I need to stay in the classroom and avoid going to the playground.
仕事はできるだろうが、室内で過ごし、校庭遊びは避けるように言われました。
Nevertheless, my head, neck, and right arm still hurt.
それでもなお、頭、首、右腕はまだ痛いです。
I'm worried about the after-effects of the injury/incident.
怪我の後遺症が心配です。
I have an appointment to see my acupuncturist this Saturday.
今週の土曜日に、鍼灸師に診てもらうことにしました。
Anyway, I'm ok!
ま、とにかく、私は大丈夫です!
I thank myself for my strong body!
