東京ママズイベント、サンクスギビングパーティへ行ってきました
とても気持ちの良い秋晴れのなかママと子供たちが集まりました

I joined Tokyo Mums Thanksgiving Day Party last Thursday
Many mums and children gathered under a beautiful Autumn sky
今回のT先生のEnglishレッスンはサンクスギビングがテーマのスペシャルレッスン
美味しそうなフェルトのターキーが登場したり、親子で歌って踊って子供たちもとても楽しそうでした
Mrs. T lead a Thanksgiving Day themed English lesson for us
It was fun to learn with cute props like turkey made of fabric, and also singing and dancing with our children
そしてアメリカ人
ママKさんがサンクスギビングの歴史や意味をシェアしてくれました
サンクスギビングといえばターキーくらいしか思いつかなかったのですが、いま神様が与えてくれているものに感謝する時、
家族でターキーや美味しいものを食べて過ごす大切なイベントだそうです
サンクスギビングに触れて周りの人やものに改めて感謝する温かい気持ちになりました
One of our mums from USA shared some Thanksgiving stories for us
When we think of the Thanksgiving Day, we tend to only focus on roasted turkeys, but it is actually a very important event for Americans to remember what God has blessed us with, and also celebrating together as families around the table full of feast
It reminded me to be thankful for what we already have, and also people around us
続いてかわいいターキーのクラフトを楽しみました
カラフルなターキーに赤ちゃんたちも嬉しそうでした
We made some craft turkeys afterwards
Babies seemed very amused by the colorful turkeys
そのあとは美味しいステーキランチ
をいただきながらママたちとおしゃべり
とっても楽しいひとときでした
After the event, we all went out to a restaurant nearby for yummy steak lunch and enjoyed getting to know each other more!
What a lovely time it was
次の東京ママズイベントは年内最後ということで、一緒にクリスマスをお祝いしましょう

Tokyo Mums is a community for mums organized by Lifehouse International Church.
We welcome mums in various stages such as raising babies, toddlers, or kids in kindergarten/elementary school! Many of us have the international backgrounds (lived in overseas, cross-cultural marriages...etc). It's easy for us to feel stressed out or anxious in parenting sometimes. So why not exchange some parenting ideas, simply chat, and be refreshed! We all can shine as mums!
We meet every Thursday except for the event week once a month at Shirokane-Takanawa City Center. Weekly information is sent out via LINE so please sign up on our LINE account!
