11月のイベントは、感謝祭をテーマに行いました。
Hi there, it’s Aki here. Our November event was held last week and the theme was Thanksgiving.
2ヶ月から3歳のたくさんのお友達が参加してくれていました。
A lot of babies and kids joined us this time:D
まずはグループに分かれて自己紹介をして、大人も子供も楽しめちゃうトニー先生の英語タイム！

First of all, we broke into a few groups and introduced ourselves.
And we moved on to Toni’s English time!
今回のテーマ、収穫感謝祭にちなんだ手遊びを楽しみました。
色んな動物や食べ物の名前を英語で覚えたよ☆
She introduced some English songs about farm animals and we learnt lots of animal names and foods in English. It’s all about Thanksgiving!
日本では、食事の前に「いただきます」と言います。
なんとなく習慣になっているかもしれませんが、食べ物に対する感謝の気持ちをいつも言葉にしているなんて素敵ですよね。
食材を作ってくれた農家の方々、料理を作ってくれた人、食材になってくれたお肉や魚、野菜や果物、そしてその全てを造ってくれた神様にいつも感謝する気持ちを忘れずにいたいですね。
In Japan, we say “itadakimasu” before meals.
Although some people might just saying it from habit, it has a great deep meaning of appreciation in one word.
For all the farmers, those who cooked the meal, ingredients including animals, fish, veggies and fruits...
And most importantly, let’s always remember to thank God who creates all of them:)

Next was sleep art photo shooting time!
今回は、秋の芸術、感謝祭の食卓、梨狩りといった感じのおしゃれなセットアップが3種類もありました！
There were three wonderful autumn themed settings this time. Mums got to take lots of cute pictures of their bubs♡
みんな可愛い写真が撮れた後は、感謝祭という事でアップルパイでティータイム♪美味しくいただきました！
And we enjoyed apple pies and tea. Yum yum!
次回の東京ママズのイベントは、12月7日に麻布区民ホールでクリスマスをテーマに行います！
月に一度のイベント以外の木曜日も、メンバーのおうちでクッキングを楽しんだり、ランゲージエクスチェンジをしています。

Next Tokyo Mums Event will be at Azabu Kumin Hall in Roppongi on the 7th of December. It’s gonna be a special one coz it’s Christmas themed! Woohoo!
Besides the monthly public event, we’re meeting up every Thursday doing some cooking or language exchange.
And we moved on to Toni’s English time!
