Did you have fun at Tokyo Mums event?
今回のママズイベントは、アメリカ独立記念日
をお祝いしました
At the previous Tokyo Mums Event, we celebrated the American Independence day together
まずはT先生によるイングリッシュタイム
この先生は子供を惹き付けるのが本当に上手で子供だけでなく、大人も楽しめちゃうイングリッシュを毎回してくれます
手遊び歌と、本を読んでくれました！

We started off with the English time by Ms. T from Australia! She is an amazing teacher who knows how to draw attention from both kids and adultsEnjoyed some stories and fun songs! Thank you ALWAYS Ms. T
その後にちょっと休憩を挟んでから、クリスチャンでもあり、男のコのママでもあり、奥さんでもあるアメリカ育ちのMちゃんがどのようにしてクリスチャンになったか、神様に出逢ったのかをシェアしてくれました
Afterwards, we invited one of our mums who was raised in America and how she met God in her life
日本人家庭でアメリカ育ちの彼女。
日本人家庭でアメリカ育ちの彼女は、私のアイデンティティって何だろう？と成長と共に考え始めるようになった。
She was born to her Japanese parents and raised in America. In her early days, she often felt confused about her identity.
両親の代からアメリカへ移り住んだ。英語の分からなかった両親は日本人コミュニティを探し求め、たどり着いたのが日本人教会。みんなの愛に触れられて、両親はクリスチャンになった。十代の多感な時期、彼女自身も神様の愛を体験してクリスチャンになった
When her parents moved to America, they knew no English. As they looked for the Japanese community to belong, they found the Japanese Christian Church. Being overwhelmed by love, her parents became Christians. For her too, she met Jesus in a personal way when she was a teenager.
そしたら、今までわからなくなってた自分のアイデンティティが少しずつクリアになってきた！神様が自分に、「100%日本人であり、100%アメリカ人である」という使命をくれたことに気づけた！
As she grew in God, she started to discover her self identity. It was God's will for her to be 100% Japanese and 100% American!
人生にはいろんなステージがあるけど、その度に神様は使命をくれる
今、彼女は一児の母であり、妻であり、クリスチャンであり…。神様がくれたそれぞれの役割には意味がある！みんなにとってもそれは同じそれを神様から受け取って輝いていこうって励ましてくれたよ！
There are several stages in life. God places purposes on each of them. Now she is a mum of a baby boy, a wife, and a Christian... God gives you specific roles with purposes! So let's receive it and shine
その後は、クラフトタイム〜
アメリカンパーティにちなんで、アメリカっぽい柄の紙を使い風車を作りました
とっても簡単！
みんな上手に作れました
After that, we enjoyed the craft time making a spin wheel with American design Cute and very easy to make! Everyone did an amazing job
