It’s a bit early to finish work, but I’ll call it a day and go home. I feel like my temperature is somewhere between 37.5 and 38.0°C. When I was growing up, a slight fever wasn’t considered a good enough excuse to leave work halfway through the day, so I used to look for the highest temperature at which I could still work — and then push myself until I couldn’t anymore. That turned out to be 38.5. I’m sure many people did the same — an unhealthy old habit of overworking yourself while putting other people’s health at risk.

最近は、そんなむちゃすることが、実は周囲に大迷惑であることの方が、十分周知されるようになったかと思うので、だいぶましになったかと思います。熱がある、というのが伝家の宝刀になりました。
さて、わたしも少し熱っぽいな、と感じるようになりましたので、かつ仕事も概ね終わったので、今日は帰ります。もしかしたら、明日は病院に行くかもしれないですねー。ただ、明日の様子にもよるかもしれません。皆さんも、おきをつけて！
