One big thing that helped me learn Japanese when I was still in Canada was to watch Japanese dramas. So, I still try to watch at least one every season! This season, I watching two series, but the one that's growing on me recently is Dear Sister!

I won't say much about the story to avoid spoiling anything, but it's very realistic which is why I love it! I do have an older sister so I wonder if she's going through the same kinds of things in her life too... ;)

But I was most surprised that at the end of this week's episode, Che'Nelle (who sings the theme song) came on to talk about her single in VERY well spoken Japanese! The last time I saw her in concert she was starting to learn Japanese so I'm happy to see her get better at the language and bridge the gap between her and her local fans! :)

I wonder what rank her song "Happiness" is going to be on today's charts... D:
