『どうして犬が好きかっていうとね（WHY WE LOVE DOGS） キム・レヴィン写真・文 江國香織訳 平成14年竹書房発行』を読みました。
ニューヨークを中心に活躍する写真家キム・レヴィンが撮影した犬の写真に添えたセンテンスを、小説家の江國香織が訳した写真集です。
キム・レヴィンは動物愛護協会に写真を提供するほど動物好きで、本書発行当時はボーダー・コリーとグレイハウンドのミックス犬「チャーリー」と暮らしていたそうです。そんな著者の温かい目線で犬たちが捉えられています。
