Just hours earlier she was partying into the earlier hours of the morning after winning her Best Actress Oscar at the 2013 Academy Awards on Sunday night.

But there was no rest for Jennifer Lawrence on Monday, as the actress was seen preparing for re-shoots for her upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The 22-year-old star was seen emerging from the Rossano Ferretti hair salon in Beverly Hills sporting near jet black hair.

No rest for the wicked! Jennifer Lawrence dyed her hair near jet black on Monday, reportedly for re-shoots of her movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, just hours after winning Best Actress at the Oscars

Crossing over to the dark side: The very dark shade is a far cry different from the honey-hued locks she sported at the Oscars on Sunday night

The Oscar-winning star dyed the honey-hued locks she was sporting on Sunday night as she took to the stage to accept her coveted award.

The actress has crossed over to the dark side once again in order to get into her Hunger Games character, Katniss Everdeen.

Jennifer is expected to work on re-shoots for the film as soon as this week.

According to sources who toldTooFab.com, the very cheery actress was friendly to staff at the salon and was overheard telling people she was heading to Hawaii to get to work on the film.

Quick dash: The Oscar-winning star dashed out of the back exit of the hair salon to an awaiting car

Still on a high: Clearly still on a high from her big win the night before, the actress was all smiles as she quickly made her way to the car carrying a bag of goodies from the salon

Clearly still on a high from her big win the night before, the actress was all smiles as she quickly made her way to the car carrying a bag of goodies from the salon.

Dressed down in a grey T-shirt, black cardigan and black maxi skirt slashed to the thigh, Jennifer  showed no signs of any tiredness from the celebrations the night before.

Instead she beamed as she dashed in her chocolate velvet loafers to an awaiting chauffeured car.

The cheery star shielded her no doubt tired eyes with some black shades and toted a very stylish black leather and gold studded handbag.

Heavily guarded: The actress was accompanied by a burly bodyguard as she left the salon

Jennifer had a ball on Sunday night after snaring the Best Actress gong.

She was seen attending both the Governors Ball and Vanity Fair Oscars party following the four hour ceremony.

Clutching onto her gold statuette, the star posed proudly on the Vanity Fair red-carpet in a slinky silver Calvin Klein gown.

She had changed into the dress after tripping on her strapless Dior Haute Couture gown as she took to the stage to accept her award at the ceremony earlier.

Jennifer was seen momentarily hanging her head in her hands after the mishap which occurred on the steps leading up to the stage.

Proud: Jennifer poses with her Best Actress Oscar on Sunday night following the ceremony

Both Jennifer's Silver Linings Playbook co-star Bradley Cooper and her X-Men: First Class co-star Hugh Jackman were seen rushing to the actress' rescue.

But Jennifer was quick to rectify the situation, declining any help as she picked herself up and continued to accept the award.

As she got back onto her feet, the star-studded audience gave the actress a standing ovation - much to the actress' embarrassment.

Coming up trumps: The star won the accolade for her portrayal of Tiffany Maxwell in Silver Linings Playbook

Despite her initial blushes, Jennifer quickly laughed off the incident and began her stream of thank yous.

'Thank you so much,' she told them. 'This is nuts. You guys are only standing up because I fell and you feel bad. That was embarrassing.'

Jennifer also thanked her co-stars, crew and team for their support before wishing her fellow nominee, Amour star Emmanuelle Riva a happy 86th birthday.

Big hugs: Jennifer hugged her mother Karen Lawrence after hearing her name being announced as winner

Cheers to us: Jennifer and fellow Oscar winners Anne Hathaway, Daniel Day-Lewis and Christoph Waltz clink their Oscars in the press room after the ceremony

Perhaps Jennifer's quick recovery is due to the fact that she's been in a very similar situation before.

Party time: Jennifer attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party in a slinky Calvin Klein silver gown

At the Screen Actor's Guild Awards earlier this year, Jennifer's midnight blue Dior gown appeared to fall apart as she climbed the stairs.

Then Dior explained that the dress was made in layers, with Jennifer simply hitching up the top layer to reveal her legs.

This time the unfortunate incident could have been even worse.

The new face of Miss Dior admitted she'd actually cut off six inches from the train of the dress before the show.

'It would have been too insane,' Jennifer told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet.

Still, the dress was long enough to hide her feet and high heels, which she said she would love to take off if nobody would notice.

Jennifer also revealed she had a very stressful day before the event and admitted she hadn't had time to eat.

'I’m freaking starving,' she said.

She then pointed longingly to McDonald’s down Hollywood Boulevard and jokingly asked her publicist to swing by and pick her up a burger.

'Today was so stressful. There was everybody in, my family got ready at my house.

'I felt like Steve Martin in Father of the Bride with all the furniture being moved around my house.'

And her family were there to watch as Jennifer accepted her award.

Her mother Karen wrapped her arms around her daughter in delight, sharing her big moment.

The actress was previously nominated in the same category two years ago for her role in Winter’s Bone.
