Today's theme:【On the Street】
dai:
I think they are "shell"and"mobil".
They are names of gas stations.
I wonder correct meanings of these words are understood by many people.
初心者:
I saw a lot of peple on the way.
yu-keijima:
I'm loving it!
We can hear it on TV as a advertisement for hamburger shop.
I didn't know the word "LOVE" could be progressive form.
mayu:
"on sale"&"now on sele"&"sold out"
We can find these posters at shops.
When I went shopping,
I'm disappointed, so I found the word "sold out".
Yoshi:
This topic is tough for me.
Mayu-san, I totally agree with you.
What I came up with is only traffic signs like 'river', 'temple', 'station'
and so on.
sakuran:
Don't mind, yu-keijima-san.
Yoshi-san, I'm so sorry.
On my way to office, I always find the sign...
"no-smoking".
A no-smoking area increases more and more.
Yoshi:
sakuran-san, thanx. no worries. LOL
For me, increasing no-smoking area is no problem,
if anything, it's good because I don't smoke.
Passive smoking is problem, isn't it?
Am I selfish?
コジロク:
I always look at "Doors on this side (opposite side) will open."
on the monitor on a train.
And then, I listen to the announcement about it in English.
sakuran:
Yoshi-san, some people don't like smoking.
So you're not selfish.
I also find the posters "watch your fingers" at the station.
