Therefore, unlike the Freepats exception, we interpret that things under GPL with Flamestudios exception must keep the exception, meanwhile the Freepats exception may be removed at anytime.
Download VSTSynthFont32 bit installation package. and 64 bit installation package. Install into the folder where you keep your VST files. You may then need to update your sequencer's list of plugins after installing the plugin file.
Standard users may have Windows set to hide Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files in Explorer. Thus, VST plugin files may not be visible
NOTE; The VSTSynthFont/VSTSynthFont64 file is not required by SynthFont, SynthFont2 or Viena. You may want it if you have a sequencer that supports VST Instruments.
NOTE: VSTSynthFont is NOT JUST a plugin version of SynthFont but a completely different piece of software. Do I need it? If in doubt, search the internet for 'VST plugin' or read this.

Bug fixes in version 1.102:
- The new 'Play MIDI' function was not set for the case when no MIDI file was selected.

Bug fixes:
- A certain bug has been present in Viena since version 0.990: on rare occasions, after saving a file using the same file name (NOT Save As..), the samples in memory would get scrambled in a certain way - sample data would 'spill over' into each other. This was only a memory issue - the saved file was in no way disorganized. Hence, reopening the file cleared the issue. In version 1.100 the saved file is now immediately reopened.
- Many other reported bugs have been fixed.
New features:
- There is a new main page called 'Play MIDI'. Here you can load a MIDI file and play it using any SoundFont you like. Pull the green/red bars in the mini Piano Roll to define a playback region.
