How To Express Uncertain Plans In English

We often talk about our future plans for
the week ahead, the weekend or even 6 months
down the road. Maybe you've learned how to
use the future tense perfectly. However,
what if you're unsure about your future plans?
Today we will learn a few phrases that will
help you express yourself when you really
don't know about the future or are just
undecided.
1. Up in the air - Up in the air is a very
popular phrase that you can use for anything
you are not sure about. Here are some examples :
" The couple had a big argument , so now their
wedding plans are up in the air"
" I haven't decided which university to attend,
my plans are still up in the air"
2. Iffy - Iffy is a really popular conversational
term used to express doubt about something in the
future. Here are some examples:
" The weather looks kind of iffy tomorrow maybe
we should not plan a picnic"
" I'm still iffy on where I want to go for my
vacation, I need to do more research"
Ok , now you try it. Use both of these expressions
in a sentence to describe something you are unsure
of in the future.

The Hawaii Floral Parade

This coming Saturday a spectacular event will
be taking place in Waikiki. It's the 69th Annual
Floral Parade. This event is full of colorfully
dressed people riding on horses. These people are
referred to as Pau horseback riders.
This event will also feature a procession of floats
covered with Hawaiian flowers. The parade will also
feature some traditional Hawaiian music, hula halau
as well as local marching bands.
The floral parade always draws a large crowd so be
sure to grab your spot along the way. The event will
start at Ala Moana Park and make it's way down
Kalakaua Avenue ending up at Kapiolani Park.
Starting at 9:00 am and ending at 12:00 noon. Come
out and join the fun!
