簡単に、普段仕事中使う単語を少々。
まず、事務所編
見積もり：
これは、よく耳にします。
こちらから、見積もりをお願いしたり、
お客様から聞かれたり。
見積もりに相当する単語もいくつかあるようです。
・estimate
・quotation
・price quoate
見積もりをしてもらうだったら、
get an estimate.
見積もりをFaxでお願いします。
Fax your quotation to me by tommorow.
逆に、見積もりを出すは、
give やsubmitを用います。
・submit an estimate
・submit a quotaion
・give an estimate
・give a quotaion
といった具合。
ちなみに、合見積は
multiple quotations
I should get multiple quotions from several auto insurance companies.
といった感じです。
続きまして。
在庫
こちらはシンプルにstockですね。
この試薬の在庫はありますか？
Do you have this reagent in stock?
というように、Do you have ○○ in stock?
と表現します。
で、在庫がたくさんある場合は、
We have plenty in stock.
在庫切れの場合は、
This product is out of stock.
Let me know the stock and delivery date.
在庫と納期を教えてください。
