This is an interview with Verner before NHK trophy. That was the really good sentence.

Interview with Tomas Verner

-You have been in Canada for a year. I know you represent Czech Republic. But we think you've been already a Canadian. How do you see yourself?
There is always Czech on my shoulder. I will be always proud of citizen of Chez Republic, heart to feel, the most beautiful country in the world. But Canada is not very far behind. I love to be in Canada. I plan to stay here couple of more years if it's possible. This year has been a little bit fairy-tale to me. When I came to Canada, I was really in big pain. No confidence, no skating because I couldn't put the two things together. And I found Emerson at Richmond training center. This guy, wow. He's like a magical hand. You know he was not really kicking, excuse my language, kicking my butt. But he made me do what I couldn't believe I would do. Last year, Skate Canada which was the first competition, I was just skate the 3rd competition of the year, I was not able to do run-throughs. But somehow he made me skate at china a clean program and I trust this man. He's a great guy. I mean when we are trying to get together, we are two buddies. When we work together, he's a coach and I'm a student. And then we are two buddies again.
-So you also took a cup of Russia title last year. You are going back there again. This year is along with NHK. You have been injured. What is the relationship with the coach. How does that help you when you try to cope with getting over injury.
For me, the most important thing is a trust. I trust my coach. He knows of my condition. And he makes schedule for my trainings exactly perfect to go with my injury. So now we are not pushing hard. We would push as usual in this part of season but I am able to skate my program. I am able to jump and I am able to skate two sessions a day. I'm getting ready for NHK and cup of Russia. I know it will be very hard to capture a title of NHK or cup of Russia. But this is a goal, why we skate. This is what we do. This is what I want to bring back to my fans.
-If you are going to finish the sentence, how would you finish it? "Skating is..."
Skating is... So many things to say. Now I'm speechless. Skating is... so many things follow me. It's extremely hard to say what the skating is. Because skating is developing my eyes. And I don't see skating as I saw ten years ago not even a year ago. For me, skating is something gives me a pleasure in my life. It's very selfish. But I have pleasure to skate. I have a pleasure to perform.
-That is absolutely the best response I can ever hope for Tomas Verner. All the best for the season.
