-Could you tell us how you feel?
I have not yet realized my victory. I still need more time to feel it. But I was confident that I did my best in my FS. I can't believe that I won the competition as well as Mao Asada. She is one of the skaters whom I often watched on TV.
-What did you think about the Cup of Russia?
At the Cup of China, I found out that I was not strong enough to compete mentally. I was unable to perform well in my FS. And I worked very hard to overcome my weakness and to be strong. I think the reason I was able to win was because I kept my concentration from the practice to the end of the FS.
-Is there any reason you put your gold medal around the neck of your coach?
It's kind of my custom when I get a medal. I know many people have supported me.
I also got to know and felt the warmth of people in Miyagi Prefecture after experiencing the 3.11. I have been trying to show my appreciation for their supports whenever I have a chance.
