I heard that The Caesars Tribute Ⅱ, an ice skating show, will be aired on TV in the U.S.. I hope I can see some clips for that. I wonder if they will have an interview with Nicole Bobek.

Skating with Kristi Yamaguchi was a wonderful time in my life. And we were so successful. We had the two national titles, the junior world title. And I just thought we were definitely going to go the Olympics. We were basically made for an Olympics. When we were spread out, as I said before, nothing happened for the reasons. And...
You know things happen for a reason. It took me longer when we were spread out. 'Cause it was like a wonderful marriage was just spread out. She went to end a gold medal and I was so happy for her. But at the same time I was like, "OMG I'm going to do something with my skating career because she succeeded." I could not find a pair skater, a girl pair skater as good as Kristi Yamaguchi. I'm not going to wrap. I'm going to be a single. Like a marriage, right? Spread out to be a single. It took me a longer. First of a year I just thought I've got get this. I stuck there and plug the way. And I just remember looking at the poster and I said, "OK there was a nationals in my hometown. I have to skate this." I had to train hard for this. Because, my hometown, I would make my last nationals. And I realized that I was riding my bike 20 miles a day and trained really hard because I really wanted to look good in my hometown. I realized, "How could I look?" I came for wining. It was icing on the cake. It was a dream came true.
クリスティー・ヤマグチ氏と一緒に滑ったのは人生の中で最高の時でした。成功もしてたし。国内大会２度優勝、世界ジュニア選手権で優勝、当然オリンピック行きをねらうものと思ってました。実際オリンピックに向けてつくられたペアだったし。で、解散したとき、前にも言ったけど予兆があったわけじゃなくて。。。うっそー。
おきることには理由があるわけで！解散して自分は長―くひきずったけど、最高の結婚がいきなり終わったみたいなものだったから。その後クリスティーは金メダルがとれて、すごくよかったと思いました。でも同時に「あの子は自分の道を進んでるっ。やばいっ！自分もスケートどうにかしなければ！」て思って。というのも相方のペアスケーター、クリスティー氏並みにいい女子のスケーターがみつからなっかた。で、このまま自分を終わらせない、シングルになるって決めました。ね、まさに結婚生活みたいですよねー。別れたから独り者。で、そこからも長くて。最初の一年はとにかくやらなきゃやらなきゃって思ってました。もがいて、道を開いていこうと必死でした。ポスターを見て「あっ自分の町で国内大会がある。滑らないと。」と思ったのを覚えてます。そのためにはかなり練習しないといけなくて。生まれ育った町で、自分の最後の国内大会の出場をするわけだから。そしたら、気づいたら一日２０マイル自転車とばして、すごくしっかり練習してました。いい状態で出場して故郷に錦を飾りたかった。そしたら「どーしたこれ！」ってくらいまでに仕上げれてました。結果的に優勝できて。花が添えられた。夢が叶った瞬間でした。
