While the cherry blossoms would fall because of this rain, young people on the street are impressive with their new suits even in this weather.
I guess everything has a new start for the year 2013.

I know nobody asked me. It's my birthday.
One year ago today, I was in the middle of shooting a scene for "Sue, Mai & Sawa: Rightning the Girl Ship."
It's kind of embarrassing but I remember Actor Kou Shibasaki and the staff for the film kindly celebrated me on the set.

I finally reach 41 years of age.

When I was around twenty, if I found out people I was dealing with were in their 40's, I looked up to them. Because I thought they must be very experienced and knowledgeable people who knew tons of sweet and bitter things in their life. However as I became older, I often felt awkward. My mind and body were not linked as I expected.
In some parts, I might gain experiences. Still I felt I needed to be more assured about myself.
When I had this kind of feeling, I read a comic book "Sue-chan."

It seems that we all live our one and only life honestly and carefully.
We have one chance to be twenty and thirty. And I started my 40's as well.
If I live long, I will experience my first time to be seventy and eighty.
All of us have a lot of first-time events through the life.

On this day, I want to thank the people who gave me the chance to make "Sue, Mai & Sawa: Rightning the Girl Ship," audiences of the film and the author Miri Masuda from the bottom of my heart.

The film is still showing!
