LOVE FOR FIGURE SKATING AND MUSIC

フィギュアスケート、映画、好きなものについてまったり書いています。

Shae-Lynn Bourne is one of the most successful women in the figure skating field.

She had a great record when she was an ice dancer.

Now she does ice shows, interview (Interview with Joannie Rochette) and choreography (Jeremy Abbot SP: A Day in the Life 2009-2010 Season). If a skater wants to show and play with his/her edge work, Born is a one who knows a tip for it, isn't she?

And watching Johnny Weir who has been trying to develop his career, I have a feeling he has a possibility to be like her if he wants to. (I don't think he can choreograph though.)

If he would decide to work for the figure skating community in the future, I want to see his work!

- We asked Johnny whether or not he plans to return to the professional world of the figure skating.

"This season, I probably won't be competing. I have so many projects. I'm working on a huge Las Vegas Johnny Weir in concert with the special amazing friends, concert sort of TV special thing. I'm calling it spectacular. I'm working on that. That's going to be a fall during the skating season. I'll be travelling around helping to promote MAC, cosmetics. I’m still doing press for my book "Welcome to my world." I am filming the second season of my reality series "Be good Johnny Weir." So I mean I'm very, very, busy. With all of the recent those projects, I just don't want to cut them off and say "OK I'll see you later." But I still have three seasons before the Olympics. It's cutting it close but I can do it."
