"Haru's Journey (2010)" is a film for which my master was in production.
It came out on DVD in January and now it is available for rental.
It received five Japan Movie Critics Awards three weeks ago.
The film was a road movie and it was shot in several cities in Miyagi prefecture.
As it has been played at the international festivals, I hope lots of people would watch and know about the beautiful sceneries there before the Tsunami occurred.
Tatsuya Nakadai portrayed a main character - an elderly fisherman.
If Nakadai played the elderly man, the character could not be an ordinary man.
His role was vital, full of energy and passion for his life!
And other actors were very professional, too. Their simple dialogues made us imagine the characters' personalities.
I think, a man is born to live and he/she exists in this world. That might be all about our lives.
Especially right now when we reconsider our lives, the story would give us a moment to think about something.
