I realize we have prejudice without thinking and because of prejudice we often can not see the truth. I think we need to think about prejudice. There are many issues of prejudice. I want to tell you about the issue of prejudice of rich people and poor people.
What is prejudice about poor and rich?
We usually think rich people are happyand arrogant and poor people are unhappy and envy happy people. Rich people have enough property and money. They seem to being very happy owing to eating plenty of good food, living in splendid houses, having superior academic backgrounds and good jobs. Furthermore, they seem to be arrogant because they think money can solve every problem.
Poor people do not have enough food ormoney. They seem to being unhappy because they are always hungry, live in small houses, don’t receiveadequateeducation and don’t easilyhold jobs. Moreover, they seem to envy happy people as they want to be happy.
However, there are many people who have enough property and money, but don’t feel happy because they do not have true friends and free time. Some rich people donate and do volunteer work. In addition, there are many people who don’t have enough money, but feel happy and being satisfied owing to full life. Therefore rich people are not always happy and arrogant and poor people are not always unhappy and envy happy people.
Difference between rich and poor in the world
I am going to talk about the disparity of wealth in the world. The country which has the biggest gap between the rich and the poor is Honduras. In addition to this country, other countries has the big gap. For example, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil and Republic of South Africa.
These countries are in Latin American area or African area. In the country, the country which has the smallest gap is Slovakia. The other countries which have the small gap are Ukraine, Czech and Finland. The disparity of wealth dependents on each state policy. So the countries which have similar policy have a gap between rich and poor about the same.
How to solve problem?
We should imagine the world that has no gap between the rich and the poor. Moreover we try to solve the problem and make such a peace world together. It seems very difficult for us to solve it, but there are some ways of solving the problem. One of the ways is that rich countries raise some fund for poor countries andoffer some supplies. For example, food, water, clothes and shoes. In addition, they who are rich and poor spend together and share a happy time to get rid of consciousness of that discrimination.
If there is no difference all over the world
If the difference between rich and poor disappear, will the world become peaceful? I think the answer is ”No”. Of course the things that people get sick and starve to death because of poor are social issues. But if the difference between rich and poor disappear, people will lose competitiveness and the society will not develop. For example, they who make things try to make better things than other companies’ goods and they will get more wealth than other companies. So the difference between rich and poor appear, but they develop their company. This way many companies’ efforts lead to world’s development. But if the difference between rich and poor disappear, they receive same profit regardless of making good things or bad things. So people will not make corporate efforts and the world will not develop . In order to prevent it, I think we need a little difference between rich and poor to the extent that no one has trouble because of poverty.
