低周波地震と調和振動型微動とか、難しい話だ・・・。

過去24時間の主火口の活動は50m～500mの高度にいたる水蒸気柱の弱い噴出に特徴づけられ、噴煙は南西方向に流れました。
2月3日（月）の二酸化硫黄の排出量は231トン/日でした。
The Taal Volcano Networkは、8回の※低周波地震 （low-frequency events）と1回の3分近く継続した※調和振動型微動 （harmonic tremor ）を含む223回の火山性地震を観測しました。
これらの地震は主火口の噴火活動を誘発するタール火山直下のマグマ活動の前兆となります。
Activity in the Main Crater in the past 24 hours has been characterized by weak emission of steam-laden (…を) 積んだ，帯びた plumes 50 to 500 meters tall that drifted southwest. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission was measured at an average of 231 tonnes/day on February 3, 2020.
The Taal Volcano Network recorded two hundred twenty-three (223) volcanic earthquakes including eight (8) low-frequency events and one (1) harmonic tremor that lasted nearly three minutes long.
These earthquakes signify …の前兆となる magmatic activity beneath the Taal edifice that could lead to eruptive activity at the Main Crater.
※低周波地震 low-frequency events ： 通常の地震波よりも周波数の低い微小な揺れを低周波地震という。
活動的な火山の地下でも低周波地震が発生することがあり、火山活動の監視などに活かされている。
一方、プレート境界の深さ30～40km付近でも低周波地震が発生することが知られており、これを深部低周波地震と呼ばれている。
また、深部では周波数の低い微小な揺れが長時間にわたって継続的に放出される現象も見られ、深部低周波微動と呼ばれている。プレート境界でスロースリップ（ゆっくりすべり）が発生しているときに、深部低周波地震や深部低周波微動も多く発生しやすいと言われている。
※調和振動型微動 harmonic tremor ： 噴火直前の火山でマグマや水蒸気の流れが活発化すると、低周波のハム音(電源周波数に準じた低い「ブーン」という雑音)を伴った火山性微動が発生する。
周波数は徐々に上昇し、噴火の直前に突如鳴りやむ。
このノイズは調和振動型微動（harmonic tremor）と呼び、世界中のさまざまな火山で観測されている。
（地殻の亀裂からマグマが上昇すると、圧力や温度が一気に高まって、通り道の岩盤が崩れ地震が発生、振動が音を生み出す。）
Alert Level 3 is maintained 維持する over Taal Volcano.
DOST-PHIVOLCS reminds the public that sudden steam-driven and even weak ※ phreatomagmatic explosions 水蒸気マグマ爆発［噴火］ , volcanic earthquakes, ashfall, and lethal 致命的なvolcanic gas expulsions can still occur and threaten areas within Taal Volcano Island and nearby lakeshores.
DOST-PHIVOLCS recommends that entry into the Taal Volcano Island as well as into areas over Taal Lake and communities west of the island within a seven (7) km radius from the Main Crater must be strictly prohibited.
Local government units are advised to assess 評価する areas outside the seven-kilometer radius for damages and road accessibilities and to strengthen preparedness 準備, contingency 偶発 and communication measures in case of renewed unrest 不安.
People are also advised to observe precautions 警戒 due to ※ ground displacement 《断層面に沿った》ずれ across fissures, frequent ashfall and minor earthquakes.
Communities beside active river channels 河床 particularly where ash from the main eruption phase has been thickly deposited 沈殿している should increase vigilance 警戒 when there is heavy and prolonged rainfall since the ash can be washed away and form lahars ラハール《火山灰泥流》 along the channels.
