On February 25th, there was a AKB48 and JKT48 concert in Jakarta, Indonesia. I was able to watch because I got an invitation from the event organizer. This invitation was given to 600 lucky fans who want to watch and meet AKB48 live and I was choosen along with 599 others. So, I think i want to share my experience here to you all.
SO, this concert was an event from Japan Pop Culture Festival 2012 series. AKB48 represents the pop culture that happens in Japan nowadays. This concert is used to be a way to exchange this 2 countries' culture.
This is happen when MC session, when AKB48 member ask to JKT48 member what is the traditional clothes of Indonesia. "We have kimono as our traditional clothes in Japan, what is Indonesians traditional clothhes?" ask Sasshi. "We have 'Batik' as Indonesian traditional clothes" replied Cleo.
And then for the last MC, all members give thanks to Indonesian people for countless help and spirit when Japan Great Earthquake and Tsunami Disaster last year. Takamina almost cried when giving the MC speech about this.
JKT48 bring the heat leveled up. Great performance of Kimi no Koto ga Suki Dakara sang in Bahasa Indonesia make spectators from around Indonesia chanting powerfully following the song rhytm.
