光と影、そして音楽によって紡がれるライブシネマ・エクスペリエンス！
これまで世界8か国30都市で上演、数々の受賞歴や5つ星レビューの実績を持つ影絵カンパニー・望ノ社と、カナダの新進気鋭ミュージシャン×日本人シンガーによるライブ・ミュージックによるコラボレーション。
また公演期間中、影絵体験ワークショップやミニライブなどのイベントも同時開催。

Green Man is a theatrical work based on a mythological figure who has appeared in almost every culture in the world for all of recorded history. It is an image of a face that is made of leaves. A creature that is part human and part plant. It has appeared so often in architecture and artwork that it seems engrained into our collective consciousness. Yet, there is no origin story for this mysterious figure. Through this show, we will create a new myth based on this character that examines the troubled relationship between humans and nature. We will examine the question of why are we so destructive towards the environment when we depend on it to survive. The show will use hundreds of hand made shadow puppets projected onto a large screen to create colorful and beautiful live animation with poetic spoken narration and a sweeping original score.
【あらすじ】
時は中世。ヨーロッパのある深い森の中、美しい魔女によって、その姿を木へと変えられてしまった男がいた。ふたたび人間の姿に戻るため、一度は恋に落ちたその魔女を、男はひたすら探し求める。その存在はやがて伝説となり、人々の間で「グリーンマン」として語り継がれる。
そして現代。あれから1000年の時を経て、誰も知らないグリーンマンの秘密を、今ここで解き明かす。
