■About Me -私について-
I was born in Saitama prefecture, Japan and grew up in a family who loves music. When I was 9 years old, I started playing Wadaiko, a Japanese drum and it taught me how fun it is to beat the drums. I have been playing percussion since I joined a Brass Band in junior high school until now. I also play piano and compose music to expand my experience.
日本の埼玉県に生まれ、音楽好きの家族の中で育ちました。9歳の時に和太鼓を始め叩く事の楽しさを知りました。中学校の吹奏楽部でパーカッションを始めてから今日までずっとパーカッションを演奏してきています。同時にピアノや作曲活動も行い活動の幅を広げています。
■The Most Familiar Instrument -最も身近な楽器-
I believe the most familiar thing for people in life is a percussion. You don't have to have a specific instrument, you make a sound by beating a desk, closing a door, tapping your body and that becomes a percussion. So the percussions are everywhere. I want to disseminate this whole idea that everybody is right by the music to enjoy anytime they want.
私は人生の中で最も身近なものがパーカッションだと思っています。楽器がなくても机を叩いたり、ドアを閉めたり、自分の身体を叩けばそれはもう立派なパーカッションになるからです。身近なところにパーカッションはあり、いつでも楽しむ事が出来ることをもっと色々な方に知ってもらいたいです。
■Chasing For Fun -楽しさへの追求-
To be sad by listening to music, to get depressed by a sad play. I totally do not agree with that. My audience should be happy with the concert they pay money for. I promise my audience that they never be sad or depressed by my music. My goal is to have percussion concert like a comedy show in all over the world.
音楽を聴いて寂しい気持ちになったり、悲劇を観て暗い気持ちになるのはもったいないと思っています。時間とお金を使いエンターテイメントを観ているので幸せな気持ちになってほしいのです。私の主催するコンサートでは落ち込んだり悲しむ事はありません。将来、コメディーショーの様なパーカッションコンサートを世界中で行い色々な方を笑顔にしたいです。
さて、今日はこれからコンサートの制作と夜はNYで仲良くなった方と食事をしてきます♪
