本日からブログを書くことによって自身の考えやインプットしたことをアウトプットしていこうと思う。これは、中学校の野球部で毎日書いていた野球ノートの延長線上にあるものであると考える。
Starting today, I will output my thoughts and input by writing a blog. I think this is an extension of the baseball notebook I used to write every day in junior high school.

現状日本の企業が欧米やアジアの企業に淘汰されようとしている。そういう中で私は日本企業のデータの扱い方が古いままであると感じる。逆に言えば、企業におけるデータ利用は非常に伸びしろがあるように感じる。そのため私はデータサイエンティストになることでデータを活用した企業改革を行ってみたい。
(What I want to do when I become a data scientist)
Currently, Japanese companies are being eliminated by Western and Asian companies. Under such circumstances, I feel that the way Japanese companies handle data is still old-fashioned. Conversely, I feel that the use of data in the corporate world has a lot of room for growth. For this reason, I would like to reform companies using data by becoming a data scientist.

今,マネーボールを読んでいる。本日は3章まで読んだが,データを使うことで主観的な感情が入りにくくなることで成果の安定化が得られるのではないかという知見が得られた。また,その分野における素人がデータを分析した方が自己経験におけるバイアスがかかりにくくなるのではないかと考えられた。具体的には出塁率の高さを重視するという考えがスカウトするためのデータにおいて特に重要視していた。

I am currently reading Moneyball. I have read up to chapter 3 today, and I have learned that the use of data may help stabilize the results by reducing subjective feelings. It was also thought that the bias of one's own experience would be less likely to occur if the data were analyzed by a layman in the field. Specifically, the idea that a high on-base percentage was important was considered particularly important in the data for scouting.
