Caught Elis & Tom at the theater last night—such a beautiful documentary about one of my favorite bossa nova albums. Hearing those familiar songs in a theater, paired with the visuals, was something special.
Elis’s voice, like Maria Bethânia’s, carries a deep sense of saudade for me—it really stirs my heart.
If you love Elis, Jobim, or bossa nova in general, this is definitely a must-see.
