そんな中、三日月の小高社長からうれしいご報告がありました
ホテルでは今朝から消毒作業が始まったそうですが、客室には多くの感謝の気持ちを綴ったお手紙が残されていたそうです
さらに今朝の小高社長のデスクには、やはりお礼の葉書が置かれていたそう
滞在者の方は言うまでもなく、地元の方々を含め全ての関係者の方々が辛い日々であったと思います
そのような中で、救いの手を差し伸べた三日月と24時間体制でホテルに常駐しそれを支えた亀田メディカルセンターに対して、滞在者の方々が感謝するという心が通いあった素敵なエピソードですね
もちろんまだまだ色々な意味で今回の受け入れには余波もあるでしょう
「これからが本領発揮です」と小高社長はおっしゃいます
でもホテルがその本領発揮するためには、皆さんが利用しなければなりません
亀田メディカルセンターはまだまだウィルスとの闘いがあるでしょう
でも日本有数の医療体制を誇る亀田メディカルセンターはこの病院なら絶対大丈夫！と思える医療と心があります
勝浦、鴨川は本当に良いところです
僕たち家族には、「故郷」です
いつも癒される故郷のために、今度は僕たちが微力ながら救いの手を差し伸べなければと思います
そして今回のことが、勝浦、鴨川の歴史の中で誇りとして語られるようになると良いですね

Death tolls are rising and the number of infection seems to be immense.
In such a depressive situation, president Odaka of the Katsuura Hotel Mikazuki texted my family that they have started sterilizing the hotel this morning and found out many of the returnees had left “thank you letter” to the hotel in their rooms.
It must have been hard times for all of the persons concerebed to this matter, but this is a heartfelt episode of the hotel and hospital that have helped and supported the returnees.
Of course there must be a lot of pros and cons (cons, especially) and things to be done to recover the negative image ( although I hate to use this expression), I suppose.
“This is the time to show our ability”, says the president.
But we need to support them to show us their ability and hospitality.
While, on the other hand. Kameda Medical Center still needs to struggle against the virus.
It may continue for quite some time.
However, it really is one of the best medical center in Japan with highly regarded systems and the “hospitality” that make you feel you will be okay.
Katsuura and Kamogawa are really wonderful places and our family’s hometown of the heart.
It’s our turn to support the places that we’ve been supported.
I sincerely hope this incident will become the pride of the local people.
