10月第２土曜日、日曜日は、橋本市内の秋まつり。
各地の地車（だんじり）が登場します。
夜、照明を灯した地車がJR橋本駅前に結集し、地車の上からタオルなどを撒いたりもしますよ〜。

そこで、知人を通じて妻地区に参加しています。
地車を曳く人が足りない地区もあります。
私たちのような余所者でも、歓迎されます。
