On Friday I made a presentation for one hour. The audience consisted of 25 middle management members of my division’s subsidiaries, so the each member in the audience was older than me. Before the presentation I was little nervous, but I could talk smoothly and do the presentation well. As a result I was very satisfied.
My division has a training program for middle management in subsidiaries twice a year. The program has a lot of categories including the explanation of mission, strategy, risk management, compliance, food safety and internal control as J-sox. My section is the internal control team therefore I have to explain about the internal control system. However it was tough work for me, because each member in the audience was older than me, in addition the explanation about internal control system was usually boring for them. Because each member in the audience worked in sales, manufacturing and logistics division, hence they did not feel familiar with administrative process especially the internal control system. Until the presentation I thought about the contents of it. First I used a video, second I communicated mutually and I talked eagerly. During the presentation, I felt that one hour was very short and nobody slept.
I was satisfied with the contents and result of the presentation. And I hoped that each member in the audience understood the essence of the internal control system.
