２０１１祈り１９８ 2011年10月1日（土）
あっと言う間に一日が経ってしまいました。これということをやったわけではなく、なんとなく不安で集中できない日々が続いています。今、世界で何が起こりつつあるのか、個人の立場から見たらもっと他に重要なこと、つまり、部屋の片付けとかがあるのは当然なのですが、やはり気になって仕方ありません。低線量被爆の影響とか次なる原発震災の可能性とか、財政破綻の実際的な影響とか、果ては富士山などの噴火でさえ、十分にありえる、そして対処をしなければ一方的に被害を被ることになってしまうリスクです。そして何よりこれらのリスクはどれも数年のうちに顕在化する可能性が大変に高い。因みに、桜島の噴火は昭和30年の観測開始以来この９月が最多回数を記録し、141回にも登ったということです。
こういった不確実性の他に、僕自身の感情面というか心情面での弱さというか覚悟の足りなさのようなものを感じています。反面から言うとそういったものを達成した時の感覚をよく分かっているということでもあります。self-respectという言葉がありますが、これが本当の自分だとの深い感覚を今また持てる時なのかどうか、僕自身の努力にかかっているのだと思っています。
I have a dream の９回目の暗記分；今日の分は高校の授業などでよく暗記をさせられる部分。自分も以前何回も読んだことのある部分なのであまり苦労はしなかった。

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plains and the crooked places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.
ちゃんと書いてチェックすると残念ながらいくつかいい加減なところが判明しました。最も致命的だったのはa desert state sweltering with the heatとなるべきところをof the heat としていたところです。つい口調だけでやってしまったミスです。
