貴船神社のご祭神は「水の神様」。
The Kifune Shrine is dedicated to the God of Water.
雨の日に伺うと、しっとりとした水のエレメントが
ただよい、「ここは水の神様の聖地なのだ」という
実感がわきます。
Whenever I visit there on rainy days,
I can feel the power of water,
and truly see that the Kifune Shrine is the holy place
for the God of Water.
雪も、水がカタチを変えたもの。
水の神様の聖地で雪景色を観ると
格別に美しく見えます。
The origin of snow is water.
To see a snow scape in the holy place of the God of Water
is especially beautiful.
神社の横を流れる貴船川も真っ白。
The Kifune river, also covered with snoe,
flows beside the Shrine.

Previously I wrote an article about the Kifune Shrine
covered with snow, then
I said that snow increase the power of the holy place.
今回は、美しい雪景色を見ていたら
とても癒される感じがしました。
・・・吹雪ではありましたが。＾＾；
Although it was a blizzare,
this time I felt that I was healed by snow.
雪の中を歩くとき、せかせか歩くと危ないので
ゆっくり慎重に歩きます。
それは、私にとって久しぶりのことでした。
I walked slowly because walking fast seemed so dangerous.
Usually I walk fast.
It was my first walk in a while.
普段と違う景色の中で、
普段と違う時間を過ごすことで、
気づかなかったことに気づいたり、
発見したり。
Spending time in different scenery
allowed me to discover some things.
そんな時間を持つことの大切さを
水の神様に教えていただきました。
The God of water taught me this important lesson.
